Harmonized Tariff Schedule U.S. (HTSUS) Classification Workshop
Seminar topics include structure of the HTSUS, legal text of the Harmonized System, heading and subheading provisions, section, chapter, additional U.S., statistical and subheading notes, general rules of interpretation (GRI’s), classification of sets, provisions for parts and accessories, classification strategies, explanatory notes. This workshop is interactive. Key concepts supported with numerous examples and participants will be presented with hands-on classification exercises.

HTSUS Aircraft Parts Classification Workshop
This workshop is designed to educate staff and management on aircraft parts classification using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States. This interactive workshop will further explore classification, specifically aircraft component designation. Potential topics include: Review of Chapter 88 of the HTSUS, Classifying Aircraft Parts vs. Parts of General Use and more. The seminar will be held in an interactive format with numerous examples of real-world aircraft specific parts classification questions.

Foreign Trade Zones
Seminar topics include overview of the Sedgwick County Foreign Trade Zone, overview of U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones Program, types of zones, possible financial savings for participating companies, how companies activate zones with U.S. Customs, how a company can be approved faster if locating in the Sedgwick County Foreign Trade Zone.
